Broomhill Nursery gets the thumbs up following inspection.

An Aberdeen nursery has been widely praised in a report by HM Inspectorate of Education.

Broomhill Nursery received a rare ‘Excellent’ award for children’s experiences.

Improvements in performance, meeting learning needs, the curriculum and improvement through self evaluation were also rated very good.

The inspection highlighted the nursery’s use of the outdoor area to develop children’s learning and happy, confident children who enjoy stimulating learning experiences. This was supported by positive partnerships with parents and the local community.

Susan Maxwell, owner of The Broomhill Nursery welcomed the report.

She said: “I was confident that the nursery would do well because there is a strong, enthusiastic staff team with excellent leadership by a very capable manager. It is satisfying that this was recognised by an external inspector.”
