The Hub Community Cafe will celebrate Burns in style with some unique entertainment.

On Thursday (January 26) Lesley McIlhagger, a Scottish tour guide, will give a presentation entitled The Immortal Jean Armour and Songs of Scotland.

The Burns talks at the Hub are always popular and according to regulars, the singing last year was terrific.

Organiser Ena Brown said: "Everyone is welcome to attend our Burns celebrations."

The entertainment will kick off at 1.30pm at the West Kirk in the East Kilbride village.

Tickets are priced £2.50 including tea, coffee and cakes from 1pm.
