Singer Annie Lennox is to speak about her work in the fight against HIV/Aids in Edinburgh.
The former Eurythmics star is one of the attractions at this year`s Festival of Politics at the Scottish Parliament.
Lennox - who had hits with Sweet Dreams and There Must Be An Angel - will tell the audience about her work to prevent the spread of HIV/Aids in Africa.
In countries such as South Africa it is estimated that more than ten per cent of the population is living with HIV, with one in three pregnant women there carrying the virus.
The singer has become a leading activist in this field through the work of her SING project and with Nelson Mandela's 46664 Foundation.
Lennox had been due to speak at last year's Festival of Politics, but had been forced to pull out due to health problems.
This year is the fifth time that Holyrood has staged the Festival of Politics.
