The organisers of Edinburgh's end of festival fireworks display insist it will go ahead with a bang on Sunday, despite continuing tram works on Princes Street.
The main thoroughfare will be closed off completely for the evening.
However, officials say there are a number of vantage points which will ensure a great view to non-ticket holders.
The programme for this year's event was unveiled at Edinburgh Castle on Friday afternoon.
The display will begin at 9pm and will feature music from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the SCO chorus.
For the first time, the live concert will be relayed to new viewing areas on Calton Hill and Waverley Bridge.
A further family viewing area has been set up at Inverleith Park and organisers say there are also some viewing points available on North Bridge.
Ticket holders will be able to enter Princes Street Gardens from either end of Princes Street.
However, the street itself will be inaccessible and the Mound and Hanover Street will be closed to non-ticket holders.
Castle Street and Frederick Street are also out of use.
