Police are appealing for information following reports of a firearms incident in Edinburgh.
Officers received reports of shots being fired on Muirhouse Place East on Sunday night.
It is claimed the incident happened in the street, near to a front door.
No-one was injured in the incident, which occured at around 11.50pm.
Police say they are trying to piece together what happened and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Police are continuing enquiries into this incident and ask that anyone with any information contact them by calling 0131 311 3131 or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
