An 84-year-old woman has been attacked and robbed in Edinburgh.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place at around 3.35pm on Saturday on Findhorn Place in the Grange area of the city.
The victim was heading home when she was approached by a man who stole her handbag and groceries.
He is described as white, in his mid-twenties, with a slim build.
He has a rounded face, dark eyes, a fresh complexion, and short hair which was covered by a beanie hat. He was wearing a dark waterproof jacket and dark trousers.
Anyone who recognises this description, or who was in the area at the time and saw the robbery take place, is urged to contact police.
