A man has gone missing after his father dropped him off in Edinburgh by car almost two weeks ago.
Christopher Knights, 25, was dressed in a black suit when he got a lift to West Mains Road near University of Edinburgh buildings.
His father last saw him at around 12.15pm on June 27 and Mr Knights has not been in touch with friends or family since then. His family reported him missing to police on July 6.
He is white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, short dark hair, blue eyes and glasses. When he was last seen he was wearing a black suit, white shirt and a black or grey tie. His left arm was in a plaster cast.
Lothian and Borders Police are asking anyone who has seen or heard from Mr Knights to get in touch as they try and find him.
A police spokesperson said: “Christopher’s disappearance is completely out of character, and his parents are understandably very upset and concerned.
“We are eager to speak to anyone who may have seen him after 12.15pm on Monday July 27 and would urge those with information as to his whereabouts to contact police immediately.
“Similarly, we would also ask Christopher to make contact with family, friends or police to let us know he is safe and well.”
