Firefighters are continuing to battle a blaze at a paper mill in Fife where hundreds of bales of waste paper are alight.
The fire at the plant at Fettykill, Cabbagehall in Leslie was reported at 3pm on Tuesday.
Five crews were were sent to the scene where they found around 100 bales of waste paper on fire outside the buildings.
The firefighters had problems accessing a water supply. A spokesperson for Fife Fire and Rescue Service said: “They had to set up a water relay from a hydrant and an open water source which was some distance away and took some time to do.”
Two fire service appliances remained on site into Wednesday morning with crews working to control the flames.
On Wednesday morning the fire services estimated that around 40 tonnes of paper was still on fire and they expected to be at the scene until lunchtime.
