For those interested in pursuing further education, you may want to visit Telford College in the north of the city which will be hosting an open to showcase their courses between 2.30pm and 8pm.
This evening the spotlight will shine on Scottish business at the national awards for 2012 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The event will be hosted by Angus Deayton with key note speech from Sir Bob Geldof and the judging panel included Dragon’s Den star Duncan Bannatyne.
The Scottish Chamber Orchestra: Serenade will perform at the Queen’s Hall at 7.30pm on the eve of their departure to a major tour of Germany.
Hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute in Edinburgh is ‘The vagabond and Traditore’ where Allan Cameron will speak of his career as an author and translator as he is interviewed by Professor of Italian at Strathclyde, Joe Farrell. The event takes place at 82 Nicolson Street from 6pm.
The first session of a six-week course in aerial skills for children and teens starts at the Out of The Blue Drill Hall today at 4pm. Participants will learn the basics of aerial work, trapeze and rope includeing spins, swings, climbs and cocoons. For more information or to book call 07989978598.
