Paulo Sergio has accused Kenny Shiels of a lack of respect after refusing to shake the Kilmarnock boss’ hand before Saturday’s match.

The Portuguese manager snubbed the Northern Irishman before and after the 1-1 draw at Rugby Park and speaking to the media he explained the reasons behind his actions.

He said: "After what he has said about me, not just this week either, it was the fifth or sixth time. This time it was so low I don't have words to describe it.

"It was time to give him an answer as he is doing it with everybody not just me, you should respect people.

"I didn't come here to get involved in things like this,

“I don't want to shake the hand of the person that is saying what he is saying about me.

“The second time he tried to shake my hand was to provoke me and to get a reaction from the crowd."
