A fire in Rutherglen has destroyed a former Railtrack training centre.
The alarm was raised shortly before 9.30pm on Sunday night, and three fire engines were sent to the scene.
When they arrived they found that the single-story unoccupied building was completely alight, and more fire engines were called in.
At the height of the blaze, 40 firefighters were involved in the incident using a combination of ground and aerial jets.
After almost four hours, fire crews were able to contain the fire and prevented it spreading to nearby industrial units.
Strathclyde Fire and Rescue along with Strathclyde Police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
