She's been dubbed by the tabloids as the Scottish Super WAG, but Leah Shevlin met her fiancee just by chance.
The blonde only teamed up with Allan McGregor when he came to buy a £120,000 Bentley at the showroom where she worked in Hamilton.
Shevlin went to school at Holyrood Secondary School on Glasgow's south side - where she was known as Leigh. The 27-year-old has also been modelling off and on since she 18, but has always hated the label WAG.
She told one Sunday newspaper: "I'd never describe my relationship with Allan as 'a Scottish Posh and Becks' -- because I know that everybody would slag us off. I hate being called a WAG -- it makes me cringe. It's just a label and doesn't say anything about our real relationship.
IN DEPTH
"But I think Victoria Beckham is a wonderful role model and I do admire her. She's always so supportive of her husband's career and has stuck by him through everything."
Shevlin and McGregor got engaged almost three years ago while on holiday in Dubai but have not yet revealed the details of the big day. But Shevlin did manage an unusual gift for her fiancee for his birthday after she had his name tattooed on her wrist. Shevlin chose the specially designed inkwork from artists Kenny's in Hamilton.
Speaking to a Sunday newspaper at the time, she said: "I wanted to do something really special for Allan. He was absolutely ecstatic - he told me it's the best present he's ever had."
The tatoo features the word 'Allan' intertwined with three hearts - two red and one blue. Shevlin sat for two hours having the intricate job done, which cost around £100. Shevlin now shares a penthouse home in the Park area of Glasgow with the Rangers goalkeeper. She is studying an HND in interior design and has described getting in practise by doing up the their flat.
She told one newspaper: "In one room I want a black, white and silver theme with sexy mannequins you can get out of a shop. You know the really fancy and quite old-fashioned ones. So the room is covered in beads and satins and it's got a chaise longue and ancient masks which are covered in jewels.
"I've got a fluffy pillow in there and I like feathers so it's my idea of heaven."
Today Shevlin was forced to deal with photographers camped outside the couple's home after being arrested for wasting police time.
