Thousands of people are flocking to Dunoon on Saturday for the final day of the Cowal Highland Gathering.
Scotland's biggest Highland games have been running since Thursday, with up to 23,000 visitors expected across the event's three days.
Pipers and dancers are among those entertaining the crowds at the event. Among the pipe bands taking part on Saturday are St Laurence O'Toole, the newly crowned 2010 World Pipe Band Champions.
More than 500 Highland dancers have been competing at the event - some as young as seven years old.
In all, some 3500 people are taking part in the events. Among the prizes up for grabs are the World Highland Dancing Championship and the Cowal Pipe Band Championships.
The event has event attracted a Time Lord this year - the seventh Doctor, actor Sylvester McCoy, who is from Dunoon, has returned and is this year's Chieftain.
