Heavy rain across Scotland has caused misery to motorists and flooding to many parts of the country.
Homes in Portsoy in Aberdeenshire have been evacuated after Loch Soy burst its banks. Around eleven households around Soy Avenue and Durn Road have been affected.
Grampian's Fire Service currently has three crews in the area to help people from flooded properties, including residents of a care home.
Some towns in Ayrshire were hit by localised flooding, with Strathclyde Fire and Rescue dealing with hundreds of calls from across Ayrshire and Argyll and Bute.
Rothesay, Helensburgh, Largs, Kilbirnie, Glengarnock, Fairlie and Glasgow were just some of the places hit by heavy rain in the central belt.
In the north of the country, there was localised flooding in parts of Huntly, while cars were two feet under water on the A947 Fyvie to Turiff road.
The Met Office issued a weather advisory saying there will be heavy rain across the UK on Thursday. The rain is expected to continue to fall overnight, with the weather warning remaining in place until the early hours of Friday morning.
