The funeral of an armed response unit officer who shot himself at a police station has been held.
Strathclyde Police constable Rod Gellatly, 41, died when the firearm was discharged at Baird Street police station in Glasgow.
No one else was involved in the incident at the station in the Sighthill area on the morning of November 5.
Friends and family attended a civil service at Linn Crematorium on Friday where tributes were given by Strathclyde Police Superintendent Gordon Barr of the force's operational support division.
Mr Gellatly's Baird Street colleague, Constable Dawn McMaster, was among those who spoke at the service.
While mourners also heard from a family friend, Royal Navy Lieutenant Karl Harwood.
Officers from an independent force, Lothian and Borders Police, have been appointed to oversee an investigation into the circumstances of Mr Gellatly's death.
Their enquiries into the death are ongoing with the force expected to submit a report on the incident to the procurator fiscal at a later date.
