Two men have been sent for trial after suspected bombs were posted to Celtic manager Neil Lennon and high-profile supporters of the club.
Trevor Muirhead, 43, and Neil McKenzie, 41, are each accused of three charges of sending packages containing explosives and two counts of sending hoax bombs to their alleged victims.
Muirhead, of Innerwood Road, Kilwinning, and McKenzie, of Links Road, Saltcoats, both Ayrshire, made no plea or declaration at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday.
They were remanded in custody and fully committed for trial.
The hearing follows a police investigation after two packages were sent to Mr Lennon and other packages posted to his lawyer Paul McBride QC, former MSP Trish Godman and Glasgow-based Irish republican group Cairde Na h'Eireann.
Muirhead and McKenzie were arrested after police raided properties in Kilwinning and Saltcoats on May 12.
