A teenager has admitted forcing a 12-year-old boy onto a cycle track and indecently assaulting him in a quiet village.

The High Court in Glasgow heard that 16-year-old Christopher Beuckmann approached the schoolboy as he was walking along Lochwinnoch Road in Kilmacolm.

He then forced the boy to a nearby path and attacked him around 4pm on October 21, near to Pullman pub.

Advocate depute Stephen O'Rourke, prosecuting, said: "The victim found the accused's tone intimidating and was frightened of him.

"The accused kissed the boy on the lips and pushed him to the ground and ordered him to perform a sex act on him. The schoolboy said he didn't want to do this and was threatened with violence. The boy shouted for help, but no-one came.

"The boy managed to get to his feet and get away. As he left he was told by the accused not to tell anyone or people would think he was gay."

The court heard that the boy was described as being "agitated, shocked and distressed" after the incident.

An appeal to find his attacker was launched and someone gave the accused's name as a possible suspect.

A DNA sample was taken of Beuckmann, from Bridge of Weir, and it matched a sample found at the scene.

Beuckmann also admitted bombarding a 13-year-old girl he met on social networking site Facebook with texts and phone calls telling her he loved her between March and June this year.

The court heard that on one occasion he stood outside her home at night and refused to leave for two hours.

Mr O'Rourke said: "The girl felt that she was being stalked by the accused."

Judge Lord Hardy placed Beuckmann on the sex offenders register and deferred sentence until October 20 at the High Court in Edinburgh.
