A cyclist has died following a hit-and-run collision on the south side of Glasgow.
Police said a dark-coloured vehicle collided with the victim's bicycle on Paisley Road West, near the junction with Portman Street, at about 5.45pm today.
He was taken to the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow, but died soon after arriving.
Diversions were set up around the scene of the accident, which affected rush-hour traffic on the busy main route.
The car, which was heading west towards Paisley, did not stop after the incident.
The man who died has not been identified by the police.
