A man has appeared in court charged with murdering a 37-year-old found fatally injured at a football park.
Mark Gallagher died in hospital after being found with suspected stab wounds at Argyll Park football pavilion in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire.
On Tuesday, Colin McFarlane appeared from custody at Dumbarton Sheriff Court accused of killing Mr Gallagher.
McFarlane, 49, of Alexandria, made no plea or declaration to the murder charge and was remanded.
Mr Gallagher was found seriously injured at the football ground in the Vale of Leven at around 4pm on Sunday.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he later died.
