A woman has appeared in court accused of attacking a 38-year-old who later died.
Diane Orr appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday charged with assault to severe injury and danger of life in the east end of the city.
She made no plea or declaration, her case was continued and she was remanded in custody.
Orr had been arrested after a woman was found seriously injured in a flat in Shettleston on Monday night.
Police had been called to the property in Shettleston Road at around 9.50pm after reports of a disturbance.
The woman, who has not been named, was taken to the Southern General Hospital but died on Wednesday.
Orr is expected to appear in court again next week in relation to the charge.
