Three men will stand trial accused of abducting and murdering a 25-year-old man before burying his body in wasteland.
Landscape gardener Graeme Ferry was missing for five months before his body was found in Cleland, Lanarkshire, last September.
Andrew Shilliday, 38, Garry Smith, 33 and Michael Archibald, 30, deny killing Mr Ferry in April 2011.
They are accused of forcing Mr Ferry into a car at John Bowman Gardens, Bellshill on April 2 and murdering him during the course of a journey to Kirk O'Shotts, Lanarkshire.
It is also alleged that they concealed Mr Ferry's body within a wooden area at Kirk O'Shotts, then returned and removed personal effects and clothing from his body and disposed of these.
The three are also charged with transporting the body to an area of wasteland at Chapelknowe Road, in Cleland, between April 2 and 5, before digging a hole and placing Mr Ferry's body in it.
On Wednesday at the High Court in Glasgow judge Lord Woolman set the trial date for May 10 this year.
