Terms and Conditions

  1. This is a search to find three singers to each perform two songs live on stage during Ewen and Cat’s warm-up ahead of Marti Pellow live at The Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow.

     

  2. You may wish to play an instrument like the acoustic guitar as part of your entry but performing to a backing track is also fine.

     

  3. If successful you will perform at one of the three nights Marti is playing live.

     

  4. You must be available on the Thursday 6th, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th August 2026 but will only be required to perform on one of the above dates.

     

  5. Your date for performing live will be confirmed should you be successful.

     

  6. There is no alternative prize should any of the events be cancelled.

     

  7. You will be required to play two songs live on stage – a party anthem and another song of your choice.

     

  8. Entrants must be aged 18 or over on Friday 8th May 2026.

     

  9. You must live in Scotland to enter.

     

  10. The opportunity is as described. There is no alternative prize.

     

  11. STV Radio will cover expenses up to the value of £100.

     

  12. We are looking for three unsigned artists who are seeking an opportunity to reach a wider audience. You must not be signed to a record label.

     

  13. The talent search opens at 08:00 on Friday 8th May and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 24th May.

     

  14. You must upload a 60 second video of you introducing yourself and performing a song of your choice.

     

  15. Only one entry per performer will be accepted. You must enter yourself. No-one can enter on your behalf.

     

  16. If you are not successful, we will not contact you.

     

  17. Marti, Ewen, Cat and producer Cat will be judging the entries based on singing voice and overall ability to perform. They will review all the entries between Monday 25th and Wednesday the 27th of May 2026.

     

  18. On Friday 29th May 2026 at 08:00 we’ll reveal the top 10 on-air and online and open the public vote. The public will be able to vote for their favourite entrant between Friday 29 th May 2026 08:00 and Friday 5 th June 2025 at 08:00. The three singers with the most votes will perform on stage as part of Ewen and Cat’s warm-up to Marti Pellow playing live.

     

  19. Winners will be announced on-air w/c 8th June.
