STV Radio and Visit Scotland have teamed up to showcase Scotland’s iconic film and TV locations, giving you the chance to step beyond the camera and win cinematic mini breaks.
There are a whopping 20 prizes to give away across the next four weeks (12th Jan - 6th Feb 2026), and they include an overnight stay, dinner, bed and breakfast for two PLUS £100 to spend.
From Indiana Jones to Outlander, and Frankenstein to The Batman, Scotland plays a starring role on the big (and little) screen, doubling for everything from distant planets to comic book cities.

Additional Competition Terms and Conditions (Rules)
The Prize Description:
Each day, over a 5-weekday period, STV is offering one (1) listener the chance to win a prize comprising: 1xnight DB&B for 2 and £100 spending money at a hotel in Scotland.
The hotel description will be promoted by the programme presenter on air on the day.
The following details will also be published on the STV Radio website at STVRadio.co.uk
How to participate:
- The presenter will set a question and invite listeners to phone in and answer.
- The telephone lines will open and close times will be stated on air by the presenter.
- Listeners must contact STV Radio at [0333 207 5333] when lines are open and answer the question correctly.
- Entrants may be put through to the radio programme to provide their answer, or calls will be recorded to be played out at a later date.
- The first correct entry will be eligible to win the prize subject to satisfying the entry criteria.
- The winning call will be broadcast on air
- The winner’s first name and city/region will be announced on air.
Competition Period : There are 20 x individual competitions. Each weekday, over a period of four weeks, the prize will open and close on the day and time announced by the presenter live on air.
Eligibility:
- Entrants must be aged 18 or over and live in Scotland.
Availability
- Each day, over a period of four weeks (20 weekdays), one prize will be available
- Accommodation is available until 31st December 2026. It is subject to availability and advance booking is necessary. The accommodation must be booked by 31st March 2026.
Exclusions
- Travel to and from the hotel is not included.
- STV, Visit Scotland and the prize promoter employees and immediate family members, any live-in partners, and anyone professionally connected with the prize draw or its administration are excluded from entry.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- The prize is not transferrable. The prize may not be exchanged for cash, it cannot be replaced if lost, and it is not transferable or refundable.
Winner Selection and Notification:
- The winner will be the first qualifying entrant who answers the question correctly ‘on air’.
- The winner will be notified immediately ‘on air’ if they have won.
- STV reserves the right to request proof of eligibility. Failure to provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate eligibility will result in disqualification and STV, at its sole discretion, may select a new winner.
- The winner must confirm acceptance of the prize by email to competitions@stv.tv within 24 hours of being awarded the prize.
- The prize voucher and a cheque for £100 will be issued by post to the winning entrant. Alternatively, where agreed the £100 will be sent by bank transfer. The winner must supply their bank account details.
Redeeming the Prize
- The winner must contact competitions@stv. who must book the accommodation on behalf of the winner.
- The winner will be sent an email confirmation of the hotel booking directly from the hote, or will be sent a voucher to cover the value of one night accommodation, dinner, bed and breakfast
- At the time of booking, the winner must provide details of their guest, and any other information required by the hotel. By entering the competition, the winner (and their guest) understand that STV will share their contact details with the prize provider for the sole purpose of delivering the prize.
- In the event that the hotel is unavailable or must close due to unforeseen circumstances outside the control of the hotel, arrangements will be made to provide an alternative prize to the same value and for the date of your reservation.
